Hello every one

I got my PGWP on 28th January 2014 but I started my full time job on 6th Jan 2014. So when will my 1 year be completed? Also, I worked full time during summer for 4 months. Will that count towards CEC experience?

Thank you all in advance

only EE left for you, because you need one year full time work experience.

no matter how many hours you have done in 2014 , until 2015 6th Jan at least, one year will completed.

so now. please research EE now , and check if your job is full time permanent , if so , prepare apply LMIA to get 600 points for your CEC in EE.

Hey thanks ...but My post graduate Work permit was issued on 28th? Will that be of any issue?

Thank you

It depends. Did you work on a Off campus work permit from the 6th? Did you officially graduate before taking up employment?

If yes to both, then you can use that experience towards EE.

Hey ,Yes I was on my off campus work permit but No i did not officially graduate. I officially graduated on 16th January, that is when I got my final grade and got the letter from university that i completed all the requirements and i can be issued PGWP.

Thank you once again for all the help

If you can show that you completed your official requirements for studies before the 6th, then you are good.

That being said, EE might change things, so better to wait a few and see what changes.

you job offer if permanent , if not. suggest consider PNP first . because 600 points is not a joke.

I suggest the same.. if u have a permanent job offer then try for PNP already.. if not.. then your work experience will only be counted after you have graduated which would be 16th Jan 2014.. thus u cannot apply for PR until then due to insufficient experience.. 6-16th Jan-14 expeirence doesnt count as technically u were still a student who had not graduated.
