I'm happy to see a positive decision for a Pakistan applicant after a number of other applicants were refused. That's great

You must email the Abu Dhabi + Islamabad visa offices to reconfirm that you can submit your passport to the Pakistan VAC. If you don't get the passport request letter in your MyCIC account, you can print off the email which you received from the visa office. This has worked for some other applicants

Hi,

You can submit your passport either to the VAC or else mail it to the relevant visa office along with the passport request letter + as per the instructions provided in the link.

Do submit the passport within 30 days of the passport request

You're not disturbing me

It's the background checks that are delaying a decision. You can expect a decision in a few days after the visa office gets an all clear report

review of eligibility started on 2 feb 2022
what does the review of eligibility means? is that mean her file is in queue to get reviewed? what they do in background check? bg check means criminality check?
