Program Name - Environmental Control

Program Admission Requirements - Postsecondary diploma or degree in science or engineering
Plus Postsecondary degree first year Chemistry course with a minimum grade of 60% or
Second year diploma level Chemistry course with a minimum grade of 60%

This program is most appropriate for graduates of college or university programs in chemistry, chemical technology, chemical engineering, civil technology, civil engineering, mechanical technology, mechanical engineering, and the natural sciences (ecology/geology/ biology/environmental management/geography/ biochemistry)

What do you mean environmental control make no sense ?

It is a postgraduate program which is provided by one of the most renowned college of canada
( sheridan ) with tuition fee more than 20k dollars / year , ( Higher than every similar college program's )

Meeting their admission criteria - Expect refusal - how can you say people who are admitted in this program will they refused by cic ? Just due to meeting minimum requirements. ?

For your kind information here in INDIA EDUCATION SYSTEM above 60% in university is considered as a 1st Division,don't you think it's fine. ?

@hardeep: i understand the concerns from your point of view.

"Expect Refusal" means, there is a lot of chances in visa rejection due to irrelevancy of the studies proposed.
Selecting a college with higher tuition fees doesn't guarantee you the VISA.
I would suggest you to choose some course related to health science, or something particularly related to a field in science.
Apart from that, no point in fighting on a forum.

Sheridan has a very good reputation for very specific programs - for example animation and medical / technical illustration.

However this doesn't mean that all of their programs are strong. I have never heard about their environmental control program and can't comment on that. I also probably wouldn't chose Sheridan for a business program.

Environmental Control is also relates with science and technology and I would like to tell you the program is provided by sheridan has various career option (co-op) even fee is far higher as compared to similar programs in other colleges ,

Higher fee doesn't make any college better/reputed.

Do be careful about program relevancy. Visa officers are very particular about this when granting a visa. Check the program curriculum before going for this.
