Any experiences from folks who are US citizens and have an expired PR card (Out of Canada for over 4 years) entering Canada via land border crossing and in a private car? What are the implications, expectations and odds of entering without any formal problems? Is it better to show my US Passport and COPR /Landing papers instead of expired PR card? Certainly can expect a border agent to give me a verbal hassle about it. I am ready to settle down and live my life in Canada. Appreciate any feedback.

So you already had your PR? How do you plan on moving you stuff to Canada? Assume your whole family has PR. If you own a home it becomes tricky to sell it knowing you could be reported. Doesn't sound like you have H&C grounds so after an appeal attempt you'd have to return to the US.
