Hi everyone! I'm trying to determine my eligibility to enter EE pool, and have a few questions.
1) I finished my full-time university program in December 2018, applied for PGWP in Jan 11, 2019 and started working full time off-campus in Jan 14, 2019. Then I received my PGWP in April 2019. My study permit expired July 2019 so it's not an issue. Does the full-time experience from Jan 14, 2019 up until I received PGWP count towards CEC eligible work experience?
I have searched up many posts here about this topic and received conflicting information. Then I called CIC and the agent said he is not even sure if I was allowed to legally work off-campus on a student permit while waiting for PGWP (?!). This freaks me out because I'm sure the international student officer at my school said I could work full-time after applying for PGWP.
2) Up to today, I've worked 55 weeks, of which I took off 3 weeks of vacation (legally stated in my employment contract) and 1 week for study leave (allowed as company policy). All of which were paid.
When calculating the hours, does this mean that I can only use 51 weeks (not including 3 week vacation and 1 week study leave) x 30 hours?
Thank you all so much for the help!
