Hello Gals/Guys
I am here in Canada and recently received a positive LMO for a caregiving position. I do not have any professional care-giving course, but i have over one year's experience in Caregiving looking after my sister's two kids. According to CIC, they said that their may be legitimate situations where a person was employed in a caregiving capacity for a relative, so i want to give it a shot and apply. my questions are:-
1. Is there anyone on here who has ever applied for a work permit under LCP and used experience as the criteria to qualify (not in an institutional setting, but for family member, or friend?)
2. What sort of documents do you submit to the officer that you were actually paid for the job. In my case, I was paid cash, but still have copies of the receipts. Will this be enough? No tax was paid on this income because in my home country, no tax is paid unless you earn a certain amount ($5000.00) every month.
Any response that is helpful will be grately appreciated!!!!
