Hi Guys,

Need your help in understanding "How the 12months calculated for CEC"
Explaining my case here:-

I came to Canada on work permit on Nov5th 2012 ,But do to emergency purpose i have to go back to my country on Jan 24 2013 to Feb 11 2013 .but i received Entire salary for Feb month with out any cut.and also i have been to US for every long weekend from the month of may.I will clearly explain the days when i am not available in canada. My question is will the CIC guys calculate these days from My 1 year or they will conside only 12 months payslips with enough hours per week/year.

Days not available in canada

Jan 24 to Feb 11
May 24 to May 28
Jun 28 to Jul 2
Aug 2 to Aug 6
Aug 30 to Sep 4

Will CIC deduct these days from my 1 year or will they take my hours in to consideration,Any help is highly appreciated ::)

If ur company can give you reference that you worked them for one year with weekly hours thats enough...you dont need pay slips. dont make things complicated for VO

if you were paid during those periods (paid vacation/sick calls), you can count them as work days.

An advice, you're stating you have around 35 days, when you were outside Canada.
I suggest you work those extra 35 days, just to be safe.

guys please don't make it more complicated than this has to be.

if you were on vacation ( location does not matter ) and got paid for that
time, then you can count that time towards your CEC experience.

if you did not get paid, it can't be counted.

so in your case, if you were on vacation, outside of Canada for 35 days, and your employer paid
you for it, then you can count those 35 days towards your CEC experience.

you also don't need any fancy letters or paystubs. the reference letter from your employer ( with all information
pointed out in the document checklist ) is sufficient and the VO gets all the information he needs
to assess your application.
paystubs are optional and in most cases not requried ( but recommended if you get paid per hour and your weekly
hours vary from week to week )

My advise to work extra days was an answer to your first post, where you failed to point out that they are sending you home soon.
If that is the case, get your 12months exp+documents and apply soon.

If your company is sending you back, are you coming back afterwards?
