expedite visa stamping

i just want to ask if the embassy would expedite the visa stamping in our passport if we request them to do so coz my husband is working in libya as overseas worker and his passport is being held by his employer for safekeeping,it is their company"s policy that their passport must be surrendered to their employer until their contract expires.BTW,our visa office is here in manila.

anyone here with the same situation?qorax and other seniors pls help!!thanks

Just write an email to CHC explaining them your real problem. At some point in time I did the same thing and my rejected file was reopened and got the medical request. Because my work contract was coming to end and i explained the CHC my real problem, however CHC had verified it with a letter from my current employer.

I dont think CEM will expedite your visa for stamping in passport if you request for it. CEM has its own guidelines to follow. I am an overseas worker too and my visa office is manila. When they ask for my passport, I just talked to our HR Manager and explain to him that i need my passport for visa stamping in canada and I showed to him the letter request from CEM for out visa stamping. .. hope this will help you.
