it means if your job doesn't fit the main job description but is related to another job, you may want to look at that list to find your NOC.

So for example, if i am a teaching assistant and i can't find my NOC, but i know a professor's NOC, so if i got into a professor's NOC and i know it doesn't fit my job description, i could then go to the classified elsewhere list to find another NOC that may fit my job better. It is there to help you find your NOC.

sunafi, don't have false hope. truth is we are not eligible.

after applying when I had the same doubt, I consulted the the lawyer "David Cohen" from canada and he also said I am not eligible due to new rules.

I am desperately waiting for rejection so that I can get my money back but still no reply as it is almost 2 months now.

hi,

thanks for sharing the thought. I do not have much idea about Albeta option.
Can you please share information on following two things, if you have some idea about it.

- Don't we need NOC no. while applying for Alberta
- Can we work out side Alberta if we don't get Job in Alberta

I would appreciate if someone can share information on this.

Thanks....

Alberta is looking for H1b's who are looking to leave US to migrate to Canada. There is a job list associated with Alberta so yes, you would need a NOC but the list is different from the FSW 38 job list.

Even Alberta is tough now days... their processing time to give nomination is 8 months + after that CIC timings , besides they are also saying now days that anyone having job offer from Alberta will be given priority in processing the application.

Before Applying under FSW I applied in AINP (alberta) that time their timelines were under 5 month u will get nomination but after I sent my app they change time line to 8 months + and after that time taken by CIC... In five months I did not even got the file no# from Alberta ( rather got email saying if u have offer from alberta send us the copy and we will give priority to ur case ) so decided to withdraw.

Now my app is with CIC buffalo under FSW.

I am not here to discourage people for applying under AINP but just sharing my real exp.

good luck
