CIC expects that a significant proportion of invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence will be issued to people without job offers from Canadian employers as there simply are not enough people with validated job offers or provincial nominations to fill the need for skilled immigrants.

CIC has indicated its intention to conduct up to 25 draws this year and plans on meeting its immigration targets 285,000 under the 2015 immigration plan. Of that, it is expected that over 180,000 will be selected under the Express Entry system. Future draws are expected to occur more frequently and the government is expected to issue a much greater number of invitations to apply to a wider array of candidates in the Express Entry pool.

i think next draw can be 450+ or 500+ because i guess going below 808 will be very few people(700-800-aged less english skills no education but LMIA or PNP) cant go below 700-600.
if not may, 2015 we would see score going to be around 400-500 because to fill 180,000 slots. 1000 per draw will not even fill 30000. 8000/draw to fill 180000.

be positive..

immigration is purely business, the easiest way to make a looot of money...smart government!!!

This is not an official information about 180.000 people under EE. It is just a private opinion of an immigration consultant, who hosts that website.
The official 2015 CIC plan really has that amount of total PRs, but nothing about 180.000 is mentioned there.
Therefore, I recommend not to trust this information so far.

I told exactly about this link.
There is nothing there about Express Entry, so 180.000 is just a fantasy and forecast.
Moreover, we can 100% conclude, it is completely wrong forecast.
Why? because Economic Total:172,100-186,700 and this amount includes tons of people from FSW 2012-2014, CEC 2014, PNP, Caregivers and many more, who are not Express Entry applicants.

What we can predict is that EE is 100% less than 114k(minus Quebec, Caregivers etc), but we don't know what part of all economic applicants will take EE.
1)Pessimistically, it can be only 10% of all Economic classes: 11k/year or 900/monthly
2)Optimistically, 50-60%: 50k-60k/year or 5k/monthly.
There is no official data about it so far.
Looking at January draws I see 15% or ~1600/monthly, what is really close to my pessimistic prediction.

Do not trust to personal opinions of immigration lawyers, they just successfully passed simple educational program and often their logical abilities are below zero:) Of cause, there are some good immigration lawyers among them.

Don't forget that some people who will receive ITA in 2015 under EE will only get the final decision in 2016. I mean, the amount of people they plan to give ITAs to in 2015 must be higher than the amount of people who will immigrate under EE in 2015.

In my opinion these targets FSW 51000 and CEC 23000 are for new applicants this year.
Every year they have targets for new applicants (I guess those targets are for main applicants and dependants)
Look at CEC quota for 2014. CIC said that CEC quota from May 2014 till jan 2015 will be 8000. So they got 8000 new applications and they stopped accepting them.
So I think all those backlog applications will fall under applications targets of the year they were sent. Cause the way they got those backlogs is - let's say 2010 target was 30000, so they accepted 30000 thousand applications and just didn't have time to process them till the end of 2010 because processing times were so long. So I don't think any backlogs will count toward 2015 applications quota.

Dan_and I think in EE main applicants and their dependants will get PR's at the same time, so family visas will be just for people who already have PR or citizenships to bring their families from overseas.

Also even if these targets as you say includes backlogs, last year under FSW CIC were suppose to take 25000 new applications (they got way less) and under CEC 15000, so we could guess that this year number of new applications shouldn't be less. They also mention that they increased CEC quota from 15000 to 23000. So at least we can expect these numbers of ITS's right?
