I am a Bangladeshi.I have a 3 (three) member family which constitute myself, my wife and our son. According to CIC i have to take CAD 16580 to canada to cover up my initial expense. Can anybody suggest how can or should I take this money from Bangladesh? Do Bangladesh allow such amount of money to transfer?

Only 1st hand experienced people please reply based on their experience.

Well I talk with an offical working in a bank. He said that as an immigrant one can take upto 1500 doller by endosement in passport. One can also take upto 5000 dollar with out declaration. So you can take upto 6500x3=19500 doller with you. However, I could not confirm the information yet. So, I suggest you to varify the information and give me an update. Cause I am also worried about this matter

Indians can easily take whatever amount they want for immigration purpose (as initial expenses and set up cost). I have found it in RBI (Reserve Bank of India) website.Bangladesh Bank should learn from them and let not people do 'hundi' and 'illegal trafficking' of money.
