hay guys,, needs input lng sana.. im here in taiwan and hoping this month makuwa kuna ang visa ko.. ask ko lng sana.. coz im planning to exit in the philippines pero d nmn ako lalabas ng airport. yung transfer plane. mag coconecting fyt lng po ako kasi gusto ko po din sna mkita ang family ko kahit saglit man lang. kasi mag aantay ng 6-8hrs din bgu ulit alis pa canada.. tanung ko lng sna.. hindi po kya ako mag ka problema? i mean d kya hanapan nila ako ng emigration ng mga docs? like pedos/oec? di po kya ako mag ka problema? thx po s mga sasagot..

Once you go out of the airport to see your family then thats it. On your way back to boarding the plane, you would have to pass through Immigration of course and if they come to know that you didnt go the norms they are requiring from POEA then I am pretty sure you will be denied to exit.

That is the same case I have, I am flying ofd only on April 8, i am still here in Singapore and do not want to go back to Phils and exit from there. I called up POEA though I am not under Live In Care Giver, they still asked me to ask my employer to go through POLO.

Goodluck. At the end of the day it still your decision that will prevail.

Kung ako ang tatanungin mo, HUWAG NA HUWAG kang kukuha ng connecting flight na dadaan ng Pinas, I tell you, di ka papayagang makaalis ng Pinas. Pero kung gusto mong ma-delay ang paglipad mo ng 4-5 months, take the risk. Yan ang reason kung bakit hanggang ngayon ay wala pa ang kapatid ko rito sa Canada. At di lang kami ang may experience, maraming nakarating dito na nag-antay ng 4-5 months bago ulit nakaalis. Why, dahil ang dami mong kailangang ibigay at bayaran sa POLO, sayang din naman kita nila sayo no and by that time, baka nagback out na rin employer mo.

i see.. then di nalang din ako lalabas ng airport pra d na ako dumaan sa imigration? If ganun po pd kya yin? Kasi d nmn n aq dadaan ng imigration ryt? At if ever man pakiusapan ko nalng din ang imigration officer baka sakaling pumayag? Wat do u tink po?

Kung wla ka pa visa sa passport mo mag vacation ka muna sa pinas then fly back to Taiwan to get your visa. If nasayo p passport mo.

Naku sayang. If you really want to go home you have to buy return ticket to Taiwan get oec from employer in Taiwan. If they see the visa Canada tell them that you still have to finished contract in Taiwan before going to Canada. Then from Taiwan buy ticket to Canada. They may find your booking online if you buy early. Take your chance. Keep us posted.

Kabayan, Don't ever try to stop-over to Manila. Even the same airplane you will be asked to go to immigration to re-check in again then if they found that you are OFW and bounded to Canada, they will asking you for supporting docs like from POLO. If you dont have this docs they will hold you and not to board in the airplane.

My advice, take direct flight from taiwan to Canada with no stop over to Manila.

Then once you are in Canada, make a visit plan to your family in the Philippines thei coming X-mas.

If you are going out of the airport then you need to pass by the Immigration counter - which in turn will stamp your passport (entry stamp). It's the IO's duty to record any entries of Filipinos or Foreigners in the country.
You can't make "pakiusap" to them as that is considered against the POE rules and regulation. It is either you enter the country or stay in the airport. If you choose the latter, then you cannot see your family as they can't enter the airport unless they have a ticket. If you enter the country that is by passing the Immigration then you need to meet all the requirements of departing OFW's (e.g. POLO, PIDOS, etc) on your departure.

Your choice .. decide wisely.
