I should not have gone to the test without it. I have to get it from the UAE. Do u have someone there? They have to go to the immigration department and ask for one. Call the UAE embassy and ask if they can help.

Yes, I agree with other reader's comment. Try to reach UAE consulate and request them, may be they can guide you with contact details of the concerned section in UAE Immigration Dept. In the meanwhile, keep CIC informed if its going to take more time.

Long and costly process.

You have to write a letter of authorization to someone you know saying that he is authorized to request your entry/exit records from immigration and have this letter notarized by a Notary Public in Canada, then send the letter to Global Affairs Canada to authenticate the letter and then you have to send it to the UAE Embassy in Ottawa to "legalize" the document. Once you do all of that you mail it to your friend.
So your friend has to go with the letter and request your records.
Then take the records (its in Arabic) to the ministry of foreign affairs then translate it and take it to Canadian Embassy or Consulate in UAE (i'm not sure of the order here, MOFA first or Canadian Embassy). Double check.

Hi I am new to post, can any one guide me, i left UAE in July 2010, at that time i had Valid UAE visa valid for one year, then never returned back to UAE from Canada, made only few trips to US only since that time. My Visa was cancelled when my husband's visa was cancelled, i have cancellation papers stating i left state in July 2010. now i am going to apply for citizenship. i have 2050 days of residence in Canada. do still need to secure entry exit stamps. on the visa cancellation papers with last exit date noted would be sufficient.

Try this company. I just got my UAE stamps translated and certified from this company in Toronto for PR card renewal. They are good.

No need of translation if stamps are in English & Arabic.

Can any one shed some light on my Visa stamp issue. i have visa cancellation papers done in 2012 and its mentioned that i left state in 2010. do i still need to get entry exit record.
