Exclusion Order+FAM sponsorship application from Outland

Ok so I talked to my lawyer today and he said it would be wise to get on a plane and apply from outland.
I have a PRRA application processing, however I didn't receive a suspension from CIC or CBSA of my removal.

On 27th I am getting on the plane. My lawyer said they wont review my application for a year (period of my exlusion order),but I am pretty sure hes confusing smth here.

Is that true?

My spouse (Canadian citizen is planning to file hers) through Inland, I am filing mine through Ankara,Turkey.

Will they still process my application and its just my exlusion order I will have to wait to have expired,before I can return? (assuming I receive positive outcome).

What are the combined timelines for Ankara office? 8-9 months?

Your wife can not file inland and you separately outland. It's one process. As you are unable to stay in Canada, you can only apply outland, and EVERYTHING needs to be submitted together. Sponsor forms + applicants + proofs. Outland goes to mississauga first, and then they will send it to Ankara. Ankara has a long processing time, 16 months, see here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp

but quite a few applications get done before. There is an ANkara thread on the page, look for it and see the spreadsheet.
If you have an exclusion order, they might not look at your application, but in any case - by the time you file + sponsor approval + transfer to ankara + waiting time: most likely your 1 year exclusion will be over.

Ok so I send in my part of application with her part to Missisauga or is she simply submitting her sponsorship part to Missisauga and then they will transfer it to Ankara?

My understanding Is that she has to submit her part first and receive a positive response before I can submit mine in Ankara,no?

No - she doesn't have to get pre-approved. If she only sends her part, it will be returned as incomplete.

So - you prepare the applicant part, make sure all forms are signed etc. She prepares the sponsor part. Then she sends all forms go together ( there is a checklist for you as the applicant, make sure you follow it and have ALL forms needed, then there is a general checklist for the sponsor to add), and send it to Mississauga.

Mississauga will check that all forms are present ( both for sponsor and applicant), and then process the sponsor part and determine if your wife is eligible to sponsor you. If yes, then she will be informed, and your file will go to Ankara (but you don't need to do anything). Then it's waiting and waiting! until Ankara contacts you.

Just wondering, I had 30 days to put in an application for PRRA. I put it in on 44th day due to some miscommunication with CBSA.

Application has been processing for two weeks now.

Wouldn't they suspend my removal? Should I contact CIC?
