eVisa-Question

Hi Everyone,
I got Canadian Citizenship on Nov 2023 and got my Canadian passport on end of Jan 2024. I didnt surrender my Indian passport yet as appointments are full. I need to go to india on April. Can I apply for eVisa and travel to India.

1. Can we apply for eVisa without surrender certificate ?
2. Is there any timeline for surrendering indian passport?
3. In eVisa portal, there is a question about other passport no. Do we need to provide indian passport details there ?

Anyone with recent/similar experience ? Appreciate your response.

Yes you can w/o surrendering your Indian citizenship
-No need to mention Indian passport does not allow dual citizenship. Once your obtain foreign citizenship, your Indian citizenship/passport has no relevance
