Hello everyone so my wife’s application, everything is completed in tracker and received pre-arrival letter two times but after that it’s been silence for almost two months now, there’s no COPR. Would appreciate any insights. Should I do anything with a Web form or something and i know a few people in the same situation, but why is it taking so long even after everything is completed.

Also her medical is expiring soon (it was done during my PR application) what’s the more likely thing to happen would they extend the medicals or redo it?

You only applied in October 2024. This is normal processing. She is just in a queue. Pre-arrival letter is poorly named because it is an administrative issue not an indication that landing is close. If all background checks have been completed then all you can do is wait and potentially do her medical again to try to prevent any future delays.

Thank you for your help! Can we do medicals even before IRCC sends a letter to re-do them? If yes, how?

Sure if you want. Visit panel physician again with your immigration information. For younger people remedial is often waived so if she is prepared to relocate to Canada soon after approval (1-2 months) I would probably save my money.
