Hi everybody!

I have a PT invitation from Ontario but never been to Canada and have no ties to Ontario. Who is in the same boat?

Is it possible to apply without ties to Ontario? How are you going to prove you intention to reside there? Is there a chance that applicants without ties gonna be denied and lose their money?

Let's discuss all possibilities. I wrote a letter with this question but got no answer yet

i am ... dont know about rejection on this basis, technically they shouldnt coz they didnt put it in the eligibility criteria but yeah its their prerogative who they choose....i will still probably apply after the 10th draw with a letter stating my intent and the fact that i dont have any ties to canada whatsoever....lets wait n watch

My cousin sister is ther in ON since 10 years. Will they accept this...

I am sending my CV to companies in Toronto, hope to get a job interview to prove my intentions to settle in Ontario

For sure they will. You don't have to bother

I got PT .. No ties to ontario except friends.
Crs 411
Noc 4165
As long as our documents are true i dnt see any chance of rejection.

I have got a PT too. No ties with Ontario as such. Never lived in Canada. Since my CRS is 430 I think I have less chance of getting an ITA so I am going to give it a try!
However, my wife's sister lives in toronto and her husband is a citizen so that is something I can count on.

I don't think they are sending PT for people with no ties for just the app fee ( i guess.)

Good Luck!

No ties as well, they are in Alberta, CRS 435 FSW. My biggest concern is I probably won't get any job offer for nursing because it is a regulated profession in Canada and the process is too long

Buddy, that's a great connection to Ontario, your wife's sister is considered as a relative. If I had a friend in Ontario I would not be worried. But I have none.

In my poor country 1500 is a hell of a money ;D I'm just concerned about losing it because of no ties to Ontario

Friends are considered as ties, so you have no problem with connection to Ontario

Hi Russian
Will just submitting CV's make the ontario guys beleive that you intend to stay in Ontario province for a long time?
I mean how do we prove that we have actually submitted our CV's since I'm outside Canada
Or do we need to have a Job too

There's gonna be many applicants, most of them with strong ties to Ontario. Applying without sufficient ties to Ontario is a waste of 1500.

In application guide it is mentioned that if you apply for a job in Ontario it may be regarded as an evidence of your intention to reside there

That's my only hope. I'm desperate to get these 600 extra points

If I have a job interview, I'll ask to send me some feedback letter and will attach it to my application

I have no ties whatsoever as well
But I'm stuck at 435CRS and I can't decide if I will jump in and throw away 1500cad for nothing :(
That's why the next few rounds is stressing me out because I only have 45 days to decide.

??? ??? ???

Has anyone got any luck in job bank?
My profession is in engineering and all i ever get are job postings for Gas station managers or retail..
How the hell is that promising? Lol

let me join you guys.. i am in the same boat...no bloody ties to ontario nor have i ever been to canada!!,

how ever as someone said applying for a job and getting an interview i dont think that would convince the person making a decision for your PNP (my opinion)

i am into engineering sales .. i thought i would write a letter of intent as well and tell them i would want to live in ontario coz of its demographics and many engineering companies head quarters located in ontario, but again i dont think that would be enough.... so i think the only way they would select ppl for pnp is first give pnp to people who have strong ties and after that select based on crs scores for ppl who do not have strong ties...so now if my theory is right and me standing at a CRS score of 402 i would be one of the last ones to be picked up for pnp so technically i would be wasting 1500cad..DARN!!! but its all about having faith after all its just money !!! all the best and if some one has a beeter thought please share!!
