Leon,

Thank you but you are being sarcastic. I am a realistic person. I learned about the requirements for the visitor visa. I didnt expect them to read my mind. I explained to them why I would come back. They didnt have to read my mind at all. At the interview, the Visa officer said that what I said does make sense. But I guess that what I said didn't mean anything because they already made the decision.

I dont think they used the wrong date stamp. I dont think they made that kind of mistake. There was not clerical error that caused me to be asked for an interview as they specified that I needed to schedule for a 45 min interview. And when I attended the interview, the interviewer had reviewed my application. He asked me questions in regard of my application. There could not be any mistake in requesting for an interview. They did it on purpose. But why? I dont know.

What do I want? I dont want to apply for a visitor visa any more. I already gave it a try. But I do want to find out how the immigration works, out of curiosity.

Your theory of a perfect world vs. a real world is ironic.

You should learn the immigration law before dealing with that law. Based on your situation, rejection of the visitor visa is 100%. Whenever you are in Canada, your husband can sponsor you to live in Canada permanently and legally. That is why they rejected your visa.

Hi Jlvisa,

Thanks for your input. I have been looking for the full version of immigration law but not successful. What I have found on the internet is just the instructions for preparations of applications and such, but not the law. Do you know if it's possible to find the full version of Immigration law?

Thanks alot.

Hi Vietgirl,

I think they rejected your visa on 9 Mar. '09, but after that they gave you the last chance. If you can convince them at the interview, they will revoke the rejection and issue a visa for you, if you cannot convince them so they still kept the rejection and sent you the rejection stamp.

You can sue them if you want since your visitor visa was with Hanoi office while your PR will be with Singapore office. Sing' office is very nice for PR application.
