Does course by course evaluation by WES suffice as ECA for immigration as well or do we need to do a document by document evaluation for immigration only and course by course for licensing

When you will create a login on WES website, they have two options. Choose ECA application for IRCC. That's it.

Thanks for the revert. But my question is more specific for my wife's ECA. Just to explain my case. I am the primary applicant and I have received by ECA for IRCC. My wife is a dentist who would like to pursue her licensing under NDEB to practice or join an university for some course. Considering the same, she would require ECA for two purposes - 1) getting the PR (as secondary applicant with me) and 2) licensing / education in university. Wanted to know if the course by course evaluation by WES would suffice for both the purposes or two separate ECAs (one under IRCC and other under ICAP) would be required or would simple ECA under IRCC work for both (which I dont think would work for licensing).

For PR the ECA is enough. Once you land, then you can apply for license.

thanks again for the revert. so the cost will have to be borne twice - once around CAD 233 for ECA for IRCC and then again post landing for course by course evaluation? - is there any way to avoid double cost / process and apply once which satisfies for both the purposes and also reduces the overall cost for getting the assessment done

I never thought of saving 233 CAD. Sorry, Can't answer this question. Leave it to other experts.

Yes. First get your course by course evaluation done. Then later just for 60 dollars you can get the duplicate copy by selecting for immigration.
