Hi everyone, I'm confused about my situation. I'm positive I will get a full-time job offer from a company that makes wind turbine blades in Canada. I'm about to graduate as an aerospace engineer in my country, and I have EU citizenship, which I believe under the CETA agreement would facilitate the immigration process. What I don't understand is exactly in what way the CETA agreement works. Am I exempt from the LMIA? What about the work permit? I

I am not sure how CETA works but for work permit, it depends. If your employer has a branch in your country and you are transferred to Canada, LMIA is not needed.

Also LMIA is not needed via something called International mobility program.

For everything else i guess LMIA is needed, but aerospace is an excellent field and you may qualify for GSS processing.

Your employer should be able to fix you up.
