Eta visa

Please advise.
My wife is an European citizen who only require ETA Visa to canada and she already apply for the ETA and she was approved 5 years visitor visa.
Am a nigeria citizen and we live in Netherlands. But i don't know if i can apply for visitor visa base on my wife ETA entry Approval. Please advise .

An eTA is NOT A VISA. It's just an authorization to board an airplane to Canada, that is it. Once at Canada airport CBSA will assess her and determine if she's allowed to enter Canada and for how long (usually 6 months).

You require a TRV to come to Canada. This must be done completely separate from your spouse, and her eTA will have no impact to your own TRV application.
