Hi,
I am a UK citizen, I recently applied for and got my eTA.
For the question "Have you ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?" I answered "No"
Someone then pointed out that my conviction 10 years ago for Driving without Insurance was a criminal offence. I had honestly forgotten all about it and didn't even consider that it would have been a criminal offence. I didn't go to court, but I was issued with 6 penalty points and a £300 fine.
The conviction is now considered spent in the UK. (I can't find any record of it anywhere to check to even check the dates, as I can't remember precisely when it happened)
My question is, should I re-apply and answer yes, or should it leave everything as it is?
Many Thanks
