Eta and OWP

I have a valid Owp from May 17 and am leaving the country for a week.Do i need an Eta or is it automatically attached to OWP. I am aware of someone who recieved confirmation shortly after they got their permit but i never recieved any email

What is your citizenship?
How are you entering back into Canada?

What is your original status in Canada? Visitor?

You're usually cautioned not to leave Canada when you're doing inland until it's complete since your PR application will be cancelled if you aren't able to re-enter Canada. Short-term trips have been considered fine, but nobody can guarantee you this.

Thanks.i just went and got an eta just in case, its only 7 dollars and i got approved in 1 minute.I know that they say you shouldnt leave but im not really concerned its only a week and my partner whos sponsoring me will be with me
