hi everyone
I’m October 2018 applicant and my estimated remaining processing time was 4 months but today changed to 18 weeks, so 4.5 months. Does anybody know what does it mean?

My guess: Nothing.

18 weeks is about 4 months and a few days. I presume they just change to counting weeks when there are fewer left. The rest is just a rounding error when using integer months vs integer weeks.

I agree with BigCrunch, my due date is way past due and they have not changed it. I don’t think estimates are personalized.

Please, a friend of mine, her PR processing time is remaining 8 days, she is yet to receive an email for passport submission.

What could be the issue is everything all right.

Theyll have to order their notes as no one here can speculate. A year is an ESTIMATE and not guarenteed to receive their PR by then

Hi Enxhi, my timeline too changed to weeks instead of months now, have you found out why is so ?

Hi,
No, I don’t know why it changed before but now that is in days it is correct.
But I’m not based on estimated time anymore because it can be less or more than 12 months.

What do you by ‘it can be less or more than 12 months’?
What is your AOR?

The process, can be less or more than 12 months. There are people who got their ppr in a short time and other people whose their application lasted more than 12 days. So, I’m not based on estimated processing time anymore.
I received Aor2 on June and then total silence.

I am AOR 4 June, and the timeline changed from months to weeks for me today. I thought of it to be a good sign initially. Let’s hope for the best. Good luck to you☺️
