Essential worker PR Stream - Cashier

Hi,

I am working part time in Canada as Day Care worker while pursuing my under grad degree, I also have 2+ years of Part-time Cashier experience ( equivalent of 1 year full-time), will I be eligible for the new PR stream. There is not much information out there since its a new stream.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

It appears that cashiers are eligible provided they meet other requirements.

1. Workers in Canada, Stream A – Health care workers (20,000 applications);
2. Workers in Canada, Stream B – Other essential workers (30,000 applications);
3. International graduates (40,000 applications)

Stream B: For temporary residents with work experience in one of the other essential occupations listed in Annex B. Can be combination of Annex A and B occupations.

Annex B: Other Eligible Essential Occupations

Hi, I am in the same situation. Did you find anything if we are eligible for applying as an essential worker on study permit. Please let me know, Thank you
