Essential travel - parents visit

Hi All,

what is considered an essential travel? In my opinion, CIC has left it very subjective. My parents have a valid TRV and they want to visit me this month as I just had my first baby.. not sure if it can be counted as essential travel!

If you're a Canadian citizen or PR they just need to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.

An infant would be considered a vulnerable person so they must quarantine away from you whether it is in somewhere like your basement or an AirBnB.
