ESL visas are also issued by the Canadian consulate for those wishing to come to Canada to learn English. They are stricter though and usually require u to have sufficient funds shown and also the dates are more restricted. There are many ESL programs in Canadian Unis and they usually are meant for those who wish to pursue degrees or diplomas after the completion of the ESL.
