ESL vs LINC for Citizenship

For someone who wants to apply for citizenship and doesn't has a degree which says medium is English the easiest and cheapest option would be ESL or LINC.
I believe both are accepted by CIC but whats the difference and which one is easier? Also I am looking for something which can be online so it will be easy.

do you have b.com transcript and degree? or MA degree if yes then you don't need give any English test... they will accept this doc for English Language. Thanks
