ERROR IN WORK PERMIT

Hi all,
I am an international student from India came in 2016. I took 2 courses of 2 semesters each to get 3 years work permit and also applied for the work permit. But now I received only 1 year work permit. So what is the procedure to get 3 years work permit... Please advise me on this....

You need to clarify how long time wise were these courses given you only came into Canada last year and did you obtain completion/graduation letters stating the length of the courses you attended full time ?

yes, i got 2 graduation letters for the courses i did. Also, i attached them along with the applications.

But you need to study for 2 years or 2x1 year courses back to back to get a 3 year PGWP yet you only arrived in 2016

8 months( 2 semesters ) course is considered as 1 year in cic
