Error in passport

Hi friends,
Please clarify my doubt regarding a typo error in my passport.

1. I am creating my express entry profile now.
2. In my passport, my mother's surname is not correct (compared to her national id's and my 10 th class certificate).
3. In my understanding, the only document with parents name that we upload is passport.
Can I go ahead with my current passport?
Is there any possibility of an issue during the immigration process?

If you are considering applying for your mother in future as well, it might be a problem then. They will double check your profile before approving hers.

That's fine. When she applies for her own Visa, she can include both names using the 'other names used' section.
