i'm trying to apply for a visitor visa to canada from egypt. i was an asylum applicant in canada who got married and have a son from my now devorced canadian wife, after getting married i did not change my status and missed 2 court dates on my asylum case,so the judge issued an arest and deportation warrent and i was deported to the us... two and a half years later i volentary left the us to africa.
Now i want to apply for a visa and dont know were to start.8 years have passed sice my deportation and i had no criminal record at all for the 2 years in canada

please help,do i have to get a pardon b4 i can apply or what????

I don't think there are any specific additional requirements, but it's very unlikely they will issue you a visitor visa after you've been deported previously. Most likely they will think you will try to remain in Canada, and so not issue the visa.

You have to applied for Authorized Return to Canada (ARC) As returning as a visitor after deportation, almost impossible. But you can apply. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english//resources/manuals/enf/enf06-eng.pdf page 30
