thanks. So that means even though I have visited india with and Indian passport while I lived abroad, I dont include India in the list of countries I visited in the last 10 years? I have not visited India or any other country with my Canadian passport. My application is already printed and I included India and other countries. Wondering if it is that crucial that I redo the app.

While doing application you have to fill everything as a Canadian passport holder . It is if you ever visited india after getting your citizenship. So answer is No.

For an entry visa or tourist visa, do I need to submit my passport at BLS? I am going on a out-of-Canada vacation in mid-December - so submitting my passport seems a bit too risky. In that case, I'm probably better off starting the entry visa/tourist visa process after I come back. But if BLS doesn't need me to submit the passport, then I can probably start with the entry visa/tourist visa process right away. It would be very helpful if someone can clarify/confirm this.

I am in the same boat. Applied Oct 19th Surrey Bls postal application for entry visa. Shows no records found. Called BLS and they just keep issuing tickets with no updates. They cant even tell if they have the documents with them or its forwarded to the consulate
I applied on Nov 1st, no records found on BLS tracker as well. But shows in process on https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/
so frustrating..Every time i call they come with same reply ‘give them few more days to update’..but application still says no record found
Anybody decided if they are traveling india with indian passport after cad citizenship during grace? Or what options did they choose?
My indianvisaonline status show application processed and printed but bls tracker showing processing at General Consulate. Really frustrated.
