Entry level / Semi - skilled B.C.

Hello guy's,

I am a food counter attendant on my work permit, and I got promoted to assistant front manager last May 2014, so I got my salary increase as well, I applied for BCPNP Semi skilled or Entry level last August. I am still waiting for my nomination as of now.

My Question is,
1. Do I need a new work permit to fall into any of those 3 federal economic immigration programs? plus do I have to gain the years of experience before I can apply. (I don't have any past skilled experience.)

2. What are the option to immigrate to Canada as Semi skilled?

hi jim just a curiosity how did you manage to get a work permit for canada ?
