I travelled to canada and overstayed my visit. Now I am intending to travel to USA using my valid visa which I got before I overstayed in canada.

Can I still use this visa. Does canada and USA share immigration information. Will my overstay be detected upon entering USA. The USA visa is still valid.

Please help

You can certainly try to use the US visa. Yes - Canada and the US share immigration information.

It's really impossible for any of us to say if your overstay will be detected when you enter the US and if this will cause any issues.

Note , when I worked at the airport for transborder flights to the USA from Canada .US immigration would check too see if passengers had overstayed their visa in Canada. On occasion they would refuse passengers who overstayed their visa in Canada, on the notion that if the passenger had disregarded the terms and conditions of their Canadian Visa, there was a chance they’d do the same with their US Visa. American immigration would not want to take that chance, hence they’d refuse entry for that passenger, as well notify Canadian Immigration
The lesson being is abide by the terms and conditions of your Visa
