Entry in Canada is 50/50 Luck

Hi! Recently I read cases on this forum of an indian couple where only the wife was allowed to enter and husband was sent back. Then there was another case posted of students allowed to enter from Vancouver airport without a SINGLE question except location to quarantine. And now yesterday my cousin has flown from Pakistan to Toronto with her permit approved in fall 2019 and the officer did not ask for a single document or question only saw her permit and reminded her that quarantine is compulsory. I know this is depressing and very confusing but these are really unprecedented times. But I thght to let you all know. We are all in this together. Honestly it all comes down to luck.

My timeline:

I currently hold a ten year visit Visa to Canada so biometrics are done. Applied under SDS 10th July
Eligibility review not started
Background Check started.
No AIP yet.
Im from Pakistan and our applications are managed by Abu Dhabi office.

The case is mentioned in one of the previous threads last week. I’ll have to hunt for it. Will post it if I find it. It was around end of july.
