Entry Denied at Toronto airport | Suggestion needed

Hi,


One of my friend got the visitor visa until passport validity for Canada but he was denied to entry in Canada last year in March 2018. Upon arrival and after interview, they have signed the following letter before leaving the country. Officer took all the photocopy of their documents (as they have passport, ticket and some India education certificate along with them), also checked their mobile phones as well.


They have signed the following document. They have tried it March 2018 but now question is that Is there visa got cancelled? or can they retry it now (after one year) in summer to travel it again here? Please advise.

Why was he denied entry?

During the interview with officer they were not able to answer all questions e.g. sponser address, the palces name they're planning to visit, also they are brning some educational document with them and officer thought that they're planing t study here etc.
So at end officer was not satisfied and denied the enrty.

I don't think the officer would have denied entry if he believe your friend was likely to study during the visit. It is possible to study short courses as a visitor if the course duration is less than 6 months.

It seems like the officer believed your friend was likely to work illegally.


If your friend intends to visit, he must:
1. He has a genuine purpose of visit (Read: Genuine host + a short visit (2-3 weeks max) + a well-planned visit + finances for the trip + a return ticket)

2. He is employed well in his country of residence + earns reasonably well by the economic standards of that country

3. He brings evidence of his ties to his country of residence

4. It would help if he has traveled to other visa-required countries in the last one year for short visits (max. one month)

I believe he don't need apply a new visa (or re-apply) to travel again, since they have visa until 2027? or in case of denied the entry could cause the cancellation the visa?

He can attempt re-entry on the current TRV. No guarantees that he will be allowed in. That's why he must bring the evidence I mentioned in the previous post
