Hi all,
I'm from a country that required visa in their passport to enter Canada.
I had a student permit and a visa in my passport. Recently I graduated and got my PGWP. My TRV in my passport says student visa and it is valid until next year.
Can I travel outside of Canada and then enter with that TRV and my work permit? I can show my study permit too but I'm not technically a student any more!
Or do I need to apply for a new TRV?

Hi

You don't need a new TRV.

Hello. I am at the same situation. Have you tried it? Is it ok to enter Canada with a TRV says student and work permit?

A TRV is a TRV. It doesn't matter if it says student. All that matters is that it is valid.

This has got me curious, what if a person's SP has been approved, is there a need to apply for a TRV or its done by preference?

I'm not sure what you mean. A non visa-exempt person who applies for an inital study permit outside of Canada is given a TRV along with their study permit.
