Entering Canada with Valid Student Visa on Old Passport Using New One

Hello everyone,

I am currently outside Canada and planning on renewing my passport. However, this renewal may result in a the embassy giving me a new passport (will have the same number and everything, just a different expiration date). On my old passport (which will be cancelled when I get my new one), I have a student visa that will be valid for when I'm planning to enter Canada next time, and I'm wondering if there would be any problems using that visa to enter Canada with the new passport.

No, there won't be any problem. Must carry both passports.

since u hv got a visa inside the old one,,,,they will attach it to the new one...
