Entering Canada on work visa

Hi All!
I have work visa valid till oct 2020. My in-land PR application just got approved in June 2020 but I don’t have my PR card yet. I want to travel to US for a personal emergency. Will I be allowed to enter back on my work visa? Please let me know. Thank you!!

You should be able to as long as you have an acceptable quarantine plan.

Did you land yet? If you did, your work permit is no longer valid. If you didn't, then you can still enter with a work permit.

I didn’t have to land because I got my PR after covid so they directly sent me my COPR since I live in Toronto.

So since you're a PR now you can't use your work permit.

Then your work permit is of no consequence. No longer valid , since individuals holding PR status would not require a work permit
