Entering Canada on Work Visa after obtaining PR

Hello, I've been working in Canada for 2 years, and I will soon re-enter Canada to do the landing and wait to get my permanent residency card. During that time of waiting for the permanent residency card, I need to visit U.K for 1 week then come back, can I come back to Canada on my work visa? I heard that I can ask for my papers to be urgent, but how long would it take? I need to travel to U.K after exactly 1 month of my entrance to Canada.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Thanks.

Your work permit will be canceled once you land in Canada and become a PR. You cannot use it to re-enter Canada.

If you hold a UK passport, you will be able to re-enter Canada on your passport alone.

If you hold a non-visa exempt passport, you will need either a valid PR card or Travel Document to return. Urgent processing for PR cards is only available for PR card renewals (not new PR cards). If you are only staying in Canada a month after landing, you will not have your PR card before you leave Canada. You can arrange for someone in Canada to send your PR card to you by mail. Or you can apply for a Travel Document once you are outside of Canada.
