All,
1. I am planning to move to Canada (from the US) on a Work visa in the next month. I am wondering if there will be complications at the consulate (during visa issuance) or at the border (during work permit issuance) because of the fact that my PR application is in progress. My signature has details of my timelines..
2. Also my wife intends to apply for her own work permit after we enter Canada, since I hear dependents are allowed to apply for an open work permit. Any experiences to share on the timelines we can expect in her work permit being approved.
3. Also can she leave Canada on a vacation while her work permit has been applied for..
Appreciate inputs from seniors on cautions I need to take and general suggestions. Like everyone else, I am also secretly hoping for a response from Qorax to my post
Cheers,
A.
