Hello,

I just got my permanent residency approval. I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I am thinking to cross the boarder by road and re-enter. Only problem is that I have US visitor visa but I don't wanna visit US. I just want to cross Canadian boarder and come back. Is it possible or I have to do my stamping at US boarder?

Please advise me asap. Thanks in advance.

Just tell the CBP guard you get that you wish to flag pole. They know what this is and will get you sent back to Canada with the proper information for you to land.

CBP is on US side, not Canadian. Stands for Customs and Border Protection.

Yes, you're correct. CBP is who needs to flagpole you because you MUST leave Canadian soil to land unless you do it via an INLAND office with an appointment.
