Hello,
I read that at POE you again need to convince the border officer about leaving Canada and not violating terms of student permit. Since getting my student permit I have had an active EE profile but no ITA
Would this cause issues at POE ? What kind of things are expected to say at POE ?

Generally they don't inquire much but as ur case is different so u may have to answer few unusual questions..so hope for the best and prepare for the worst... someone with experience can answer ur question accurately..

No issues whatsoever. My husband and I have active EE profiles and we got our SP and OWP. I've even submitted an e-APR after getting my SP. I don't expect it to be any problem at all.

do you think it would be different if EE profile was made after study permit was approved ?

would it be considered misrepresentation or some sort of fraud to apply for EE after approved study permit ? I applied later because my points initially werent enough so there was no point to apply EE

I had an express entry profile while applying for my study permit last year. My application was approved successfully. Search for "Temporary Resident: Dual Intent".
