Friends,
My cousin-in-law is currently in Edmonton on a valid work permit and her husband is here through her work permit on an open work permit. Their son is back in the Philippines. Today, all of their passports were returned to them, along with their Immigrant visa's! Each passport had their own seperate visa's attached, respectively (not one big visa with everyone's name on it).
Question: Do any of you know if they are allowed to enter Canada seperately or are they all required to enter Canada at the same time at the same border crossing?
The reason I ask is because the husband is thinking of driving to southern Alberta to the US border to re-enter, while my cousin-in-law wants to fly back to the Philippines to spend a month vacationing there and then re-enter with their son.
I utilized this Immigration Forum a year or more ago on many occasions when I was sponsoring my partner for Permanent Residence and found everyone to be super supportive and helpful. Any advice/information you can share, would be utmostly appreciated.
Thanks, everyone! Cheers!
