Entering Canada after leaving without eCOPR in the first place

Additional information - Say I leave Canada on my Hong Kong passport without eCOPR, can I enter Canada as a visitor using my other passport that is issued from another country? Will it be a problem if I use different passports leaving and entering Canada?

I am leaving Canada in 2 weeks and I submitted my photos and address and such on the PR portal on May 16th. I currently hold a visitor record allowing me to stay in Canada until Nov 1st, I hold a Hong Kong passport, so technically I can enter Canada as long as I apply for the eTA. However, if I receive eCOPR while I am overseas, can I still come back to Canada as a PR or as a visitor? I read that the boarder agent could turn me away. I am traveling with a 4 month old and I am very anxious now.
I am confused by multiple sources (IRCC website / IRCC hotline agent / other online sources) regarding whether I can re-enter Canada upon leaving Canada while waiting for my eCOPR or not. I would appreciate if you can share your experience with me ..

So, you indicated in the Portal that you are inside Canada, correct? Even though you have not yet received your eCoPR, what happens when you do...if you're no longer in Canada?

Because you have already confirmed your PR status in the portal, all your previous temporary status documents become invalid. If you travel outside of Canada and attempt to enter using commercial means you need to have a PRTD which can take weeks to process

Once the eCoPR is issued, you are a Permanent Resident of Canada.

Thank you for your reply. I indicated I am in canada, however, I have to leave Canada before I can receive my eCOPR. I read that the eCOPR will not be valid if I am not inside Canada on the day it was issued. In this case, I won't be a permanent resident and I can't apply for PRTD, is that right?
I can fly to the USA with my US visa, but I don't know if the Canadian boarder agent will reject my entry because I left Canada before I got my eCOPR... any thoughts on this?
