Hi Everyone,

I submitted my online application for citizenship and later realized that I entered wrong entry date for one of the vacation trip I made out of Canada. It is just off by one day and do not make me present lower than 1095 days in Canada.

I actually entered on 10th but wrote 9th which was actually the day I took the flight?

I haven't received AOR right now. What should I do next?

Hello,

Don't worry about it as long as it doesn't make you fall below the required number of days. I have seen people in similar situation where there were +/- a couple of days on their entry/exit dates but had more than 1095 days in total and they got their citizenship without issues.

If it makes you feel any better, once you get the AOR then you can submit the update using Webform, attach a letter correcting the date in it.

Thanks a lot icykool23

Do I have to wait for AOR to submit the web form or is it something I can do now as well? Also do you know where & how can I access the web form. I found this link but dont know how I reach to web from from here.

Based on my experience with IRCC if you dont have an AOR yet, you will very likely end up sending the same after you receive your AOR as they dont have a way of locating your application yet. At least that is what happened in my case so it was pointless contacting them before AOR.

Yes I agree with @mhd10 wait for AOR as there is no way for them to update your file.

Mistakes happen. It's usually not a problem if the corrected version still keeps you above the 1095 days limit. If anything, mistakes may add some scrunity from the IRCC officer working on your application, but I've seen cases, including some personal friends, who made some errors in their physical presence calculator but got their citizenship with no issues because they applied with a good buffer.
Just send a webform or let them know of the mistake during the interview and it should be fine.
Obviously, if this 2 days mistake gets you from 1096 to 1094 days of physical presence, that's a whole different story...

Hi
Kartik829
So what did you do ? Did you sent a webform after the AOR or you just got the citizenship without issues ? Did raising the webform delayed your application ? How long it took for you to get the citizenship from AOR to CPP ? Pls share so that will be helpful for all the folks who are in the same boat.
