Hi Experts,

I have got PR through Saskatchewan PNP. I am planning to do a temporary landing in Canada for 3 weeks, and I am sure that within this time I will not get my PR card. So will get the card delivered to my relative who stays in Regina. In worst case scenario, I don't get my PR card delivered, how can I enter Canada. I have heard about PRTD, can you please throw some light on the same and if any alternatives too.

Thanks
Vigneshram

Your options are: PR card, PRTD or fly to the US and re-enter Canada through a land border using your COPR.

Get your relative to send you the PR card by express to your address overseas.

Hi Scylla and BC4life,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Is it mandatory to hold COPR, even if I have PRTD. Also to apply PRTD, will I be able to apply online from India. I am infact trying to get it mailed through my relative, but I am just raising this question in case I am unable to get because of some clarifications raised by Canadian government and me not present in Canada.
