Enter as a tourist on worker visa?

Hi all,

I have a multiple entry temporary worker's visa for Canada until December 2016 (I am an artist and was given this visa for performances there). I also have family in Canada, and would like to visit them later this month. Is it ok to enter Canada as a tourist with my worker visa? Since this situation is the opposite of most people's, I can't find any information on this.

hi do you mind if i ask you how did you get working visa as a foreigner ?
i have a visitor expires ini 2025. if i apply for a work permit can i work legally in canada with my visitor visa for a few years ?
