Enhanced Drivers License - Should we apply for it?

I am wondering if any of you have the Enhanced Drivers License and what are experiences. There seems to be many steps to apply for it including interview. I hope we don't have to go through enhanced interrogation LOL to apply. any thoughts?

Do you, or do you plan, to drive to the US regularly. If not then no it is not worth it.

I decided not to apply the Enhanced Drivers License. Since I am going to apply for Passport anyway. It seems EDL is a good alternative for passport if we only want to cross the border by land. It would have been good to have, but the process to apply is a bit lengthy with interview requirements, so just decided not to apply for it.

FYI - My wife and I applied for this in Washington State (where we live) the day after the election. In total we were probably there for about a forty-five minutes including waiting for our number to be called. I received mine in the mail a couple days ago. It's really a no big deal thing.
