This might possibly be a stupid question but is there a problem if for example all forms are filled out in english, but half of proof of relationship documents are in french.

My partner is french and although he does speak english he doesn't feel as confident writing in english as he would in french.

Is it a problem if our stuff is all mixed english and french??? or should we try to stick to one?

English and French mixed is fine.

Thanks so much for answering!!
I just wanted to make sure, at this point I think we're just being over cautious and possibly slightly paranoid :) :)

Well in theory they accept the document either in French or English, But if you are sending an application with half form filled in french and half in English, it may slow down. Form in English and French are same, why don't you just copy in English form the replied from his French form ? it will make the life of Visa officer easy other wise they have to find a visa officer who is Bilingual and it may slow down the process of your application.

All CIC officers must be bilingual to work for CIC.

All the forms are in english.
The only thing in french are letters from some of our friends, as well as the letter my partner wrote to describe our relationship,
